Ekki kanski alveg en ég bara get ekki beðið fjölskyldan er nefnilega búin að plana sumarið og nú er svo erfitt að bíða. Við höfum sem sagt ákveðið að skella okkur í 2 vikur í Ágúst út til Þýskalands. Það sem er fast á planinu er að gista í nágrenni Trier í húsi sem vinur pabba á þar (að því gefnu að það seljist ekki í millitíðinn en húsið er búið að vera á sölu í dáldin tíma), fara í Movie World, taka amk. 3-4 daga ferð niður til Berchtesgaden og í leiðinni þangað að kíkja við í Dachau og Neuschwanstein Castle. Þegar til Berchtsgaden er komið á náttúrlega að skoða Arnarhreiðrið og ýmislegt fleira sem þar er að sjá og það er víst ekkert lítið né ljótt. Svo langar mig alveg obboðslega mikið að fara yfir til Ausurríkis til Salzburg og fara þar í Sound of Music tour sem ég sá á netinu hér er lýsing á þeirri ferð:

This English tour (maximum 8 participants) combines the history, architectural sights and cultural highlights of Salzburg with some of the main locations used in the film. Starting at 8.30 from the Berchtesgaden Visitors Center the mini bus will take you along the Berchtesgaden river valley flanked by Mount Untersberg, seen in the movie. En route, your guide will explain Berchtesgaden's role played in the Sound of Music and point out some of the sights.
Once in Austria the guide will touch upon Salzburg's fascinating history and culture before making a stop at Hellbrunn Palace where the "gazebo" used in the movie is located today. View the two palaces of Frohenburg and Leopoldskron used by 20th Century Fox as the von Trapp home. Parking the mini bus at the edge of Salzburg's old town, accompany your guide through the historical streets of Mozart's birthplace as you view the town's architectural highlights, many of which were featured in the movie: horse-pond, Getreidegasse, Mozart's birth house, open market, University church, Mirabell Gardens, festival hall, St. Peter's cemetery, Nonnberg convent (Maria's abbey), Chapter square, Cathedral square, Residence palace, Hercules fountain and Mozart square. At 11.00 a.m. the bells of the old Glockenspiel mark the beginning of one hour free time for you in Salzburg to sample Austrian pastries and coffee, visit the Mozart museum or simply stroll through the elegant streets of the old town.
At 12.00 your guide will pick you up in Salzburg's center for your ride to Berchtesgaden. During the return trip you will hear the true story of the von Trapp family and how it was made into the film classic still so popular today. Songs from the movie will be played during the driving tour, setting the tone for a memorable tour.
Ef þetta er ekki tour sér sniðin fyrir Guðnýju Kristleifsdóttir þá veit ég ekki hvað. Ég verð bara að vera búin að kenna börnunum öll Sound of music lögin og þá getum við ekið syngjandi um Sazburg he he he ... Og þar sem við verðum 6 á ferðalagi þá komast ekki nema 2 utanaðkomandi með sem þyrftu að hlusta á breimið arrr. Nú er bara að panta þennan tour í tíma og skella sér.
Núna er ég sko farin að hlakka til eins og lítð barn um jól og finnst allt of langt að bíða fram í Ágúst..................The hills are alive with the sound of music AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaa..............
